The  \u003cbr\u003e Tosefta is crucial to the study of formative rabbinic Judaism and early  \u003cbr\u003e Christianity.  \u003cbr\u003e Jacob Neusner is Distinguished Service Professor of the History and Theology  \u003cbr\u003e of Judaism at Bard College and is Senior Fellow, Institute of Advanced Theology,  \u003cbr\u003e Princeton.
