It's sturdy with a thick zipper and deep pocketscover slips; nothing is falling out of this baby. The handle on the side is also really thick and won't break. The external slip pocket is perfect for holding things like note papers, highlight keys, bible tabs you simply haven't applied yet (I'll get around to it!), whatever you think is necessary for your 'bible reading kit.'
