Early Church, Paul's Companions, Prayer, Parables, Heaven (On The Way Series)
undefinedTntPaperback 2014-05-20
These lessons teach 9 to 11 year-olds that Bible stories are truth, not myth. Everything you need to present the lessons is provided, including reproducible materials and age-relevant, low-cost craft activities for each lesson.
Publisher Description
On the Way for 9-11s works on a 2year syllabus,
consisting of 6 books. It follows on from On the Way
for 3-9s and includes material that is not covered in
that syllabus. It is designed to introduce children of
this age group to simple Bible study.
The lessons are grouped in series, each of which is
introduced by a series overview stating the aims of the
series, the lesson aim for each week and an
appropriate memory verse.
Every lesson, in addition to an aim, has study notes to
enable the teacher to understand the Bible passage,
suggested visual aids where appropriate and an
activity for the children to do to take home. Because
of the emphasis on teaching basic Bible study skills,
many of the activities take the form of work sheets.
These provide opportunities for applying the lessons
learnt. Many of the lessons also include a craft
activity.
