ded to jump straight to those instead of the verses. This one is just what we were looking for. The size and binding is great. He font size is easy to read, the illustrations are beautiful and reference the chapter and verse they have drawn underneath. Includes a bible dictionary at the back, 'God's Word for me when'... which my son finds helpful. Also includes a timeline and several coloured maps. After the contents page at the start, it has several pages describing what the bible is (God's message to us), what the bible says about itself, how to use the bible, and a preface. Lovely cloth cover too, although can get easily dirty if not looked after (especially if you do devotions after breakfast!) Would definitely recommend.
