Lacey is the ship’s hostess and she has history with Jon. She isn’t happy to discover that Jon is their new cruise director. Jon wants to rekindle a relationship with Lacey but he’s hiding his own secrets. He’s trying to work out if there are drug mules using the ship to move illegal cargo and he wants to solve the mystery before someone else gets hurt.
It was fun traveling with the seniors on their crazy adventures and experiencing their carefree cruising lifestyle around the Caribbean. Lacey and Jon had their reasons for being reluctant to fall into line with The Shippers matchmaking plans. I appreciated seeing Lacey and Jon working through issues on their journey to a sweet romantic reunion. I’d initially thought I’d picked up on all the mystery clues in the story, but a plot twist near the end was a satisfying surprise that tied up all the loose ends.
I recommend Love Overboard to contemporary romance readers who like second chance romcoms set on a cruise ship with matchmaking seniors, an intriguing mystery, and a relevant faith element in the story. Read LessRead less about I enjoyed reading Love Overboard, a
