Luther's Small Catechism

First published in 1529, Luther's Der Kleine Katechismus was an abridged version of his influential Large Catechism, and originally intended for the instruction of children. The Small Catechism takes the traditional catechetical form of a Q and A, covering such essentials as the Ten Commandments, Apostle's Creed, and Lord's prayer, as well as biblical sacraments such as baptism and eucharist. The format makes this ideal for memorisation, and it can be used profitably by Christians at all stages of their walk with God.
