n understanding of God as the source of these absolutes and shows how there must have been a revelation of God's character to man as these absolutes are not naturally derived from nature.\r\n\r\nLewis' description of the life of Jesus in the context of Jewish history and expectations is wonderful, and his further explanation of the main Christian teachings is clear and consistent.\r\n\r\nThere are many very memorable illustrations and arguments throughout this book, and it is so very full that a second listening invariably enriches one even more.\r\n\r\nI found Ralph Cosham's reading style clear and appropriate to the text. He is certainly one of my preferred narrators.\r\n\r\nListen and be informed, strengthened and encouraged. Read LessRead less about Mere Christianity is a classic work
