an work alongside each other as see each other as God has created them. \r\n\r\nJesus' life is analysed to demonstrate how He related and loved women intimately but appropriately. Also addressed briefly are modesty, pornography, and gender differences and similarities.\r\n\r\nThe book seemed to be written for married people, so a single person (especially if in ministry) is left wondering how many of the principles apply. \r\n\r\nThe authors were not intending to come up with a list of rules, however the book had some, but was light on practical instruction. Perhaps this book is best read in conversation with a mentor, friend or spouse specifically.\r\n\r\nThey declare their intention is not to address the issue of roles in ministry. They do a good job of avoiding the issue, however seem slightly complementarian. This doesn't influence the positive value of the book. Although there are references to work outside formal church ministry, its strength is for those in formal church ministry contexts. \r\n\r\nOverall, a helpful read for anyone seeking to better relate to the opposite gender in ministry, which should be everyone.
