Noah-nya (Noah): Children’s Bible Series - Pitjantjatjara
Booklet 2024-06-01
This is the Old Testament story of Noah in Pitjantjatjara. God saw that people on Earth were very wicked and decided to send a great flood to cleanse the world. But God saw that Noah was good and told him to build a huge boat called an ark. Noah was to take his family and two of every kind of animal into the ark and God would save them. Noah obeyed and built the ark. When the ark was ready, Noah, his family, and the animals entered it. Then it started to rain, and it rained for 40 days and 40 nights, flooding the Earth. The ark floated safely on the water. After the rain stopped, Noah sent out a dove, which returned with an olive branch, showing the waters had receded. Finally, the ark came to rest on a mountain. God promised never to flood the Earth again and placed a rainbow in the sky as a sign of this promise.
