This is a really well produced documentary, as is the whole series, on whether Moses wrote the pentateuch, as the Bible says. It compares alternative viewpoints fairly, and gives evidence which backs up the Bible from an archaeology point of view. Really enjoyed it.

A strong argument that Moses could have written the Torah
The Moses Controversy is a documentary that explores whether it was possible for Moses to write the 5 books of the Torah. Tim Mahoney interviews theological and linguistic experts from Both sides of the argument, examining how they reached their position and the physical archaeology to establish if there is a 'pattern of evidence' for an alphabetic script that was available to Moses. \\n\\nTim does an excellent job at articulating a case without distorting words or taking people out of context. If you have any doubts about whether Moses could have written the Torah then the film is a must watch. \\n\\nWhile it is not necessary, I would highly recommend watching the movie 'Patterns of Evidence - Exodus', first in order to fully appreciate all of the arguments in this DVD. \\n
