Peppered throughout each chapter are insights he has gained from the wisdom of others, and how after applying their principles and feedback, illustrates guiding principles for his readers to also apply.\r\n\r\nHis disarming and honest approach is both refreshing and engaging. The level of transparency at times is confronting, not because of the content, but because of how it challenges the reader to do so likewise. The book is well written and easy to absorb and be absorbed into. His section on parenting contains a gripping story from Paul Young (author of The Shack) that is worth the price alone. As too is his chapter on manipulation and how we all too often get caught up in predictable cycles of control or dominance.\r\n\r\nI read this over one weekend and thoroughly enjoyed the experienced.
