"This is one of my all-time favourite Bible storybooks. J Emmerson-Hicks is well known for his editorial work on Matthew Henry's Commentary and 200 other reference works in the areas of English language and Bible reference. His children's Bible offers a very good sweep of God's Word, with all the old favourites included. The striking cover and illustrations throughout this book are a highlight; each one not only illustrates the text, it contributes something new to the narrative. The Anglicised English text is easy to read, and with nearly 300 individual stories it offers a version of the "read the Bible in a year" genre for younger children to 9 year-olds." - Bronwyn Bootes Billington, Koorong Children's Buyer, August 2014.
The brightly coloured, detailed illustrations in this wonderful children's Bible bring every story to life. The Text has been rewritten in clear, engaging language especially for younger readers and forms a delightful introduction to the Bible.

The Illustrated Children's Bible (Anglicised)$34.99
My children aged between 3-7yrs old enjoy this book a lot! They will sit and turn through every page, studying the illustrations. It’s one of their favourite books for us to read to them and they ask to read chapter after chapter.

Fully recommend for 8-12 year old children
I bought a class set for Kid's Church. All the children adore these Bibles as they read out loud each week. Just about every part of the bible is represented in this paraphrase. The illustrations are of realist artwork that shows that these stories are about real people in history, not cartoons.
