An excellent read and I love the ending, though some might disagree!
This book follows an educated skeptic who is touched by a patient’s rock-solid faith through the trials of cancer. Through his journey we meet doubt and skepticism, mystery and mild suspense, fears and victory, and even a touch of romance. But most of all, we learn from his journey walking and talking with a God he’s not even sure exists.

Last book in a 5 book series
I liked that this series threaded characters throughout different books and linked them in. This was the last book in the series it was good but not my favourite one from the series. If you wanted a few books to read on a holiday this would be a great series to pack as I did not get bored with them at all it kept me wanting to read the next one.

Searching for answers
I read this book some time ago and really enjoyed this story about Paul, a man we briefly met in Grace in Strange Disguise. This is a stand alone book, although will be made much richer if you know the other characters from previous books ( especially Paul's former patient Esther McDonald). \\nDillon's writing keeps getting better - this book contains many spiritual truths and disciplines that would benefit any reader to explore in more details. These books are wonderful for their relatability and realness, not fake romance or pseudo-happy families. I love that Dillon doesn't sugarcoat the Christian life ( it's not all wine and roses if you follow Jesus) but portrays the search for truth and also the reality of living out the Christian life amidst the pain and discord in our world. \\nYou won't be disappointed to read any of her 'Grace' series.

Impacting
Another fabulous book by Christine Dillon. Impacting and to the point. I've loved this whole series. They are powerful, thought provoking and deal with subjects not generally touched by christian authors. So much to be gleaned from these books. I thought this one was interesting being about the Doctor. I wasn't sure how that would work but it worked perfectly. Interesting idea done really well. Once again dealing with some tough subjects, handled beautifully. Highly recommend the whole series.

Interesting
The old, old story doesn't get boring. A fresh take on a sceptic's journey to God. I found it hard to put down. It certainly challenged me to witness more and be the sort of person someone would be able to ask of the reason of the hope within me. I would have preferred a more concrete happy ending instead of just a wisp of one but enjoyable overall.
