**The Holy Spirit...**
Greater than your theology, bigger than denominations, beyond all we can imagine, God's gift to the church and to you

Debate about the Holy Spirit has been around for a long time. In *Holy Fire*, best-selling author and respected theologian R. T. Kendall sets the record straight about the Holy Spirit's role in our lives and in the life of the church.

If you want to increase your knowledge of this most misunderstood member of the Trinity, or if you long to experience His presence in your life in a deeper way than ever before, this book is for you.

Are you charismatic? He is bigger than your signs-and-wonders events. Are you Reformed? He will not be limited by your theology. As Jesus said of the Holy Spirit, “He blows where He will."

Good for understanding doctrine of Holy Spirit
This book is good for those who want to grow in the knowledge of the doctrine of the Holy Spirit (pneumatology). The author starts with the person and work of the Holy Spirit, and then discusses topics such as cessationism, gifts of the Spirit and baptism of the Holy Spirit. The good thing about this book is that we can understand Reformed view and Charismatic view on the doctrine of the Holy Spirit. However, some of the explanations on the person of the Holy Spirit did not make sense, which is why I only give 4 stars.

understanding God's fire
A good book if you wish to grow in the knowledge of the things of the Holy Spirit. I learnt much about the 4 different types of fire in the bible and found it insightful. Worth the investment, written simply as well, so it is easy to read for anyone who is hungry to know more.

Enlightening reading
I first completed a Holy Spirit course at church and this book was on the suggestion list of further reading. I have found it extremely enlightening and a book that definitely pushes me to look at my life and at how I have actually acknowledged (or at times not) the Holy Spirit. A definite must read for those who want to know more about the author of the Bible.
