Halloween is one of the few nights of the year when neighbours knock on your door, which makes it a natural time for Halloween evangelism. This range brings together gospel tracts for children and adults, single Gospels and pocket New Testaments in easy-to-read translations, mini Bibles, and small gifts with a Bible message to hand out alongside the lollies. Many tracts come in packs of 25, ready for a busy night of trick-or-treaters or a church outreach.

Frequently asked questions

What is Halloween evangelism?

Halloween evangelism means using the night of Halloween to share the good news about Jesus with the people who knock on your door. Many Christians hand out a gospel tract, a small Gospel or a mini Bible along with lollies or a small gift. It’s a simple, friendly way to meet neighbours and leave them with something about Jesus to read later.

What is a gospel tract?

A gospel tract is a short booklet or leaflet that explains the Christian message in plain words, usually with a few Bible verses and an invitation to respond. Most can be read in a few minutes, which makes them easy to hand out.

What’s the best gospel tract for kids?

The best tracts for kids are short, colourful and tell the story of Jesus simply. Look for titles written for children, such as Two Ways to Live for Kids: Who Will Be King? or The Biggest Story tract by Kevin DeYoung, or a Halloween-themed tract like A Pumpkin Tale. Picture-led tracts suit younger children, while older kids can manage more words.

Should I give a tract, a Gospel or a mini Bible?

A tract gives a quick summary of the Christian message, while a Gospel lets someone read the story of Jesus for themselves. Single Gospels such as Mark, Luke or John are short and easy to hand out, and a pocket New Testament goes further again. Mini Bibles are small keepsake books of Bible verses that children love. Easy-to-read translations like the NLT or CEV suit first-time readers.
