The album that made me like rap!
Before this album, I didn't like rap much, especially Christian rapping for some reason. But this album made me enjoy Lecrae, Tobymac and others. The opener 'Outsiders' is a great introduction to what Lecrae is capable of, and while not many of the other songs quite live up to its fluidity, this CD is a great listen for all 15 tracks.

BEST YET!!
I've been a long time fan of Lecrae (seriously, since I was in primary school), and I can confidently say that this one is the greatest so far!! There was no moment I wanted to change songs, all of them are absolutely amazing! My Favourites are definitely """"Outsiders"""",""""Timepiece"""",""""Runners"""" and """"All I Need Is You"""". \\r\\nFresh Sound, Fresh Collaboration, recommended for all!

Standout release
Lecrae's latest album debuted at #1 on the Billboard 200 Charts, and for good reason. Leaps and bounds ahead of all of his other (excellent) records, Anomaly has taken reformed hip-hop to a whole new level. This album is saturated with shameless proclamation of the Gospel of Jesus. Lecrae is dedicated to crafting quality music equal to anything the secular scene has to offer; he doesn't want it to be said that Christian hip-hop is just a cheesy knock-off of a vibrant and thriving sub-culture, rather he seeks to redeem the art in the name of Jesus Christ. Hip-hop doesn't need to make us cringe, and Anomaly is probably the best example of why. This record is angry at injustice ('Welcome to America'), it's opposed to our sinful nature ('Runners'), but most importantly, it's all about bringing glory to God.

Lecrae is back!
I was a Lecrae fan for the first few albums, but I didn't enjoy the sound of the Rehab album onwards. This is not to say anything of his intent or his lyrical abilities, but the sound just wasn't me. This album takes a different approach from the oversaturation of electronic 'fake' music, and feels a lot better produced. There is a variety of lyrical flows and a lot of content (not to mention typical heart wrenching themes!) which have been not only entertaining, but challenging on a personal level. Also, having Kari Jobe on a feature track was a great addition!
