Deuteronomy (Evangelical Biblical Theology Commentary Series)

David Starling has provided a great commentary, it is engaging and scholarly, yet i find his work easy to read, follow and understand his arguments. This is a great piece of work on 1 Corinthians and would recommend to preachers and teachers. The style of this commentary series is really helpful beginning each section with context and ending on a bridge where David offers insightful practical application for us today.

Right for the introduction (which I recommend all read) Millar captures your attention and shows how well he understands who he is writing his commentary to and he delivers what his audience needs. This is a commentary for all people, from devotional readers to biblical teachers he clearly unpacks the text and has many gold nuggets to mine, for those who wish to go deep.
