Loved: The Lord's Prayer

Lovely board book for babies through to preschoolers. Simplified but faithful paraphrase for littlies to be taught prayer and foundational Biblical content. Accessible and appropriate for memorisation for young children.

This is a lovely book to introduce the Lords Prayer to little ones. We enjoy reading it with our 2 year old as we begin to teach her about prayer and what that means. Great pictures that will keep your kids wanting to read this for ages.

This book is beautifully printed, the pages are thick and strong, the size is generous and easy for small children to look through. I get that the author is wanting to express the closeness of our relationship to God, but as it only mentions God once in one of the last pages, I think it could have been much clearer using 'Father God' or something similar instead. Otherwise children could read it as a story about their dad, and how great he is (There are many books about dads that do celebrated them by exaggerating their abilities like that). I can see how this book could be a very nice prayer time support, bedtime perhaps, but I find it a little lacking in depth to reread too many times.
