NIV New Beginnings New Testament

What a beautiful book. It is as it reads in my NIV Study Bible, but half the size and weight and obviously just the New Testament. There is a beautiful introduction at the beginning where it talks about the fact the person may be reading this New Testament as a Christian or someone exploring the Christian Faith, that either way this is possibly one of the most influential set of writings in human history. It is spot on. It still feels like you are reading the Bible (the New Testament) It has an explanation in the front with The lay out is clear and succinct and for a teenager or a reluctant reader, as it is self-explanatory, with an explanation of what the Bible is, the order of the Books and so easy-to-read. It is perfect when trying to explain to someone who isn't familiar with Jesus just what the New Testament is all about. Sharing Jesus with non-believers is really tricky as they can often be on the defense as soon as you mention, "I am a Christian"... So, something like this book is a great introduction without feeling overwhelmed. It is also great for me when I don't want to lug around my study bible as it is half the size and weight.
