    Reformed prayers

This book is a collection of prayers from the reformed tradition around the world collated from the centuries dating back to the 15 hundreds. The prayers definitely draw out the distinctive emphases in the reformed tradition such as the primacy of the Word, sovereignty and majesty of God, the Triune persons in the Godhead, the importance of the moral law to shape Christian living and the need to live a sanctified life, justification by faith alone etc. While the book is published by a liberal denomination it does therefore has more prayers in the 20th and 21st centuries focusing on social justice and racial reconciliation but though I'm more of a conservative this did gave me a window into the liberal mainline denominational ethos. It even had a few prayers translated from the Hungarian Reformed church which put a smile on my face. Take a look.
