    loved this book!

I absolutely loved this book. From the very first chapter I was engrossed in the lives of the characters, and could hardly put the book down!\\r\\nUnlike other books I have read by Karen Kingsbury, 'A Thousand Tomorrows' is not explicitly a 'Christian' book. Don't get me wrong - there are very strong themes on forgiveness, true love and life after death, and the characters do indirectly talk about prayer and faith, but it is done a lot more subtly that other Kingsbury books (e. g. the Bailey Flannigan series). For this reason, this book would make a good choice if you were look for a 'good' book to give to a non-Christian, without scaring them off by something they might find 'too preachy'. \\r\\nA Thousand Tomorrows is the first book in a series, but can be read as a standalone book. If you enjoyed books such as Nicholas Sparks' 'A Walk to Remember', then you will like this one. \\r\\nJust one last comment - I purchased the 'mass market' edition, and while it was fine, the text is quite small and close together. I'd recommend getting one of the other editions. \\r\\n
