Mother of three adult children, and Regency romance author, Louise Brooker (AKA Luella Linley) should feel satisfied that she has been instrumental in getting her two daughters happily settled. Her meddling was successful, but came at a price, and husband, Russell, has advised she leave the children to their own devices.

But her eldest, Pete, is thirty-five, living back at home and discouraged. His fiancee left him days before the planned wedding and three months on, Pete still hasn't recovered. Louise might be biased, but her responsible, hard-working and handsome son would make a good husband and father-but he's given up after three failed relationships. But a mother knows. He is a good catch, but unlikely to be fooled by her scheming and meddling as she did with his sisters.

This situation calls for something special. A direct approach. Just like in her novels. Let the parents do the arranging and sort out the wheat from the chaff. This method will take any risk of rejection out of the equation, and let's face it, a mother can tell what's needed for a successful long-term relationship.

Carrie Davis dedicated herself to her career long ago. Her one and only serious relationship was a disaster, put down mainly to her youthful naivety at the time. Up until the birth of her niece, Carrie had not considered that she might even like a relationship, but now thoughts of loneliness were stalking her. Carrie's sister, Ellen, knows and when she sees an odd advert in the classified ads, she begins to wonder if this is a prank or an opportunity sent from heaven.

*"In 'All Arranged', a modern-day marriage of convenience romance, we see the indomitable Luella Linley at it again as she blends her fiction with the real lives of her adult children. This results in a deeply emotional and moving story that sees Pete and Carrie learning to trust, learning to love, and the healing power of forgiveness. Keep the tissues handy!"*

Book #3 in the Luella Linley - License to Meddle series. Luella Linley's son is 35, alone and broken-hearted after being jilted. Fantastic series finale

This was an excellent read. I love historic mail-order bride type story lines, and this was similar, only modern. A modern, Australian arranged marriage! And the book had everything - laughs, romance, serious moments tackled with empathy, a loving family and plenty of faith-filled moments on the road to true love. Once again Pete's father, Russell, was a standout character for me, and I loved his strength, reliability and self-control - he always waited till his advice was asked for, then swept in with wisdom and support. So many romance novels end at the first kiss, or the engagement. Some might get as far as the wedding, but Meredith Resce proves it's possible to go beyond the wedding and still hold the reader's interest in watching love develop. This book could be read alone, but why not do yourself a huge favour and read the entire Luella Linley series. You won't regret it.

    such a fun series!

It is so nice to find an Aussie Christian author, and stories that are actually set in Australia! Pete and Carrie's love story is a bit. . . unconventional (naturally, when you have a mother like Luella!), but I liked how it gave thought-provoking insight into what true love means beyond the usual ending of a 'happily ever after' wedding. I've absolutely loved spending time with the quirky Linley family!

    Brilliant and captivating

What a brilliant story. It captivated me from the very start and had me completely absorbed right through. This author is so good at putting layer upon layer to her characters and story. I was taken on such a journey - fun and laughter, challenges to my thoughts/ideas, hope, joy, grief and loss, renewed hope and redemption. Wow! The characters and the life I lived through those characters has become a part of me deep down inside. I doubt I will ever forget Pete and Carrie. I love the way they met and how their relationship developed. And who can't love the meddling mother? The families are so real and relatable. Some stories have the power to move you in ways you never expected. This is one of them and my life is richer for having read it.

Meddling mother back to her best

Definitely 5 stars for this one. Thank you author Meredith Resce for a free copy in exchange for an honest review. \\nRegency Romance author Luella Linley is back to her meddling best in the finale of the series . But she finds her single 35 year old son isn't as malleable as her Regency characters. He succumbs to her machinations (with some extra help from other characters!) to undertake an arranged marriage with 32 year old Carrie. Both of them have former relationships they still carry wounds from and the following year brings a wedding, heartache and misunderstandings. A beautiful climax to the story results in love winning through forgiveness and restoration. A highlight for me was the family support for this young couple as they worked through their burgeoning love for each other.
