"All My Holy Mountain" is great fantasy fun with a kick. Graham warns us of the risk of losing ourselves in the task we take up. Even good things can become addictions." - Jeff Gerke, Founder, WhereTheMapEnds.com
"The Binding of the Blade series is remarkable in at least two ways. First is the grand themes explored in this epic fantasy series. Graham's motifs echo with archetypal power: summoning the father of dragon s, eluding a great flood, harnessing elusive prophetic powers, and quelling evil. The series is also remarkable because of the cover artwork by legendary illustrator Larry Elmore. If the stories inside the books have generated such striking imagery, they must be compelling indeed. And they are." - Jeff Gerke, Founder, WhereTheMapEnds.com

Don't judge a book by it's cover. Never more true than for this series, which is my favourite fantasy series outside LoTR. I actually would have read this series a long time ago, but was put off by the cover art work. It wasn't until I noticed that it was published by P&R that I took the time to read the first book thinking that if P&R published fiction then it must be pretty good, and I wasn't disappointed. I think this book was the perfect ending to a great series and I'm glad that there were 5 books, even after 5 I was still wanting more, so I guess that's a good indicator that there wasn't too much written and that even after 5 books of over 450 pages each I would still have kept reading. I always wondered how the 5th book would work out and to be honest I wasn't really looking forward to the final book because I didn't know how it could be ended with any satisfaction, but I was pleasantly surprised, not only was I wrong but was massively wrong!!!
