    lighthearted

Somehow I cannot identify with the people in this story. Apparently there are people like Desiree who, when facing eternity, regret that they didn't get their dream job, but not that they had no kids, or something else that would last for eternity. It is sad when it is real life because Jesus said where your treasure is, there your heart will be, therefore store up treasure in heaven. But as far as this is fiction and it doesn't get depressing, for a bit of light entertainment before getting back to the nitty-gritty of real life, this story is a match. \\r\\n

    Lots of Fun

This was a fun, easy read, with lots of great characters, humorous situations, and romance and many wonderful friendships. The only thing it didn't have a lot of was Christian faith building material. The characters acknowledged God, and there was some prayer, and wisdom from the pastor, but not as much as is usually present in a Christian romance novel. As an Australian, I groaned inwardly every time Russell appeared, the actor from Down Under. Is that really how we come across to other people? We definitely do not talk like that. Apart from that, this was an enjoyable, light read which I recommend.
