I was surprised to read the 'back cover' after reading this beautiful story. It truly is a prequel with the beginnings of the Bjorklund family only sneaking into the very last chapters. I wonder what happened to the Aarvidsons?

Lovely!!
I was so excited for this book to come out and i was definitely not disapointed. It was so great to read this novel after reading all the other books in the relating series. Loved reading how Ingeborg grew up, as not much is mentioned in the other books. If you love all the books in the Red River, Return to the Red River, Daughters of Blessing series etc. then this is books is a must read!!!
