Beneath the Surface (#01 in Dive Team Investigations Series)

This book is a gripping start to the series. Blackburn introduces relatable and fun characters that readers connect with early on. The plot is intricate enough to hold your interest without being so complicated it's hard to follow. A satisfying conclusion, but definitely leaves the reader wanting more of these characters.

A good launch to this romantic suspense series. Well paced information and collaboration from the investigating team kept this one going. There are several interesting side characters that you will look forward to being main characters in the following books. Some sweet kisses between long time friends is satisfying without being forced. The realistic prayers and questions of faith were a great addition.

A friend handed me Beneath the Surface on Thursday and I've had such a great weekend with Leigh Weston and Investigator, Ryan Parker and their support characters. \\r\\nA story of suspense with a splash of Romance in the mix. A twist I didn't see and I didn't pick the badie. \\r\\nI'm really looking forward to book 2 In too deep. \\r\\nA story that grabs you at page one and is definitely a page turner on par with Lynette Eason and Dee Henderson.

Such a sweet book! (well as sweet as you can for a christian suspense novel)\\r\\nLeigh has moved to Carrington after escaping a stalker and grieving the death of her mother. When a body is found in front of her lake house she unwittingly gets pulled into the investigation. Ryan is one of the lead detectives, who takes it upon himself to protect and look out for her after it appears that the killer is wanting Leigh dead. \\r\\nThis book is filled with awesome, likeable characters which make for a very suspenseful and fun read. Looking forward to reading more of this series in the future. \\r\\nP. S I love Sabrinas character. Hoping very much that she will be the main star in one of the other books to come!
