From the RITA Award-winning author of *Five Days in Skye* comes a sweet, romantic treat that will leave you hungry for more.

Baker and pastry chef Melody Johansson has always believed in finding the positive in every situation, but seven years after she moved to Denver, she can't deny that she's stuck in a rut. One relationship after another has ended in disaster, and her classical French training is being wasted on her night job in a mediocre chain bakery. Then the charming and handsome private pilot Justin Keller lands on the doorstep of her workplace in a snowstorm, and Melody feels like it's a sign that her luck is finally turning around.

Justin is intrigued by the lively bohemian baker, but the last thing he's looking for is a relationship. His own romantic failures have proven that the demands of his job are incompatible with meaningful connections, and he's already pledged his life savings to a new business venture across the country-an island air charter in Florida with his sister and brother-in-law.

Against their better judgment, Melody and Justin find themselves drawn together by their unconventional career choices and shared love of adventure. But when an unexpected windfall provides Melody with the chance to open her dream bakery-café in Denver with her best friend, chef Rachel Bishop, she's faced with an impossible choice: stay and put down roots with the people and place she's come to call home ... or give it all up for the man she loves.

    Beautiful

This book was really sweet, but also had a lot of depth to it. I loved the meet cute (aww!) and the relationship that resulted from it, and the way the main characters (and their amazing friends) both supported and challenged each other to be the best they could be. Professionally, and in their personal lives. Such a beautiful story. Highly recommend. (Maybe not if you're on a diet though, since the incredible-and many-descriptions of food will make you so hungry. . . . !) But seriously, so beautiful.

    Delicious

As the saying goes, you eat with your eyes. Brunch at Bittersweet Cafe is a feast for your senses. The baked delicacies are beautifully described, it felt like I was one of the privileged few to indulge. The aspiration of opening a cafe inspired me and the goal became my own. I was so glad that the Saturday Night Supper Club story continued. Melody has a lot of personal issues to work through, a lot of hurt to process. She is on a journey of forgiveness that will begin a happier chapter of her life. Enter Justin, who stumbles into Melody's life in what will be revealed as God's handiwork. Their romance is passionate, yet very cautious, laced with a forseeable bittersweet ending. Melody and Justin's story unravels in an addictive fashion. I was unable to put it down and I can guarantee it won't leave you disappointed.

    Fantastic

This second book in the Saturday Night Supper Club series is as brilliant as the first. This one picks up Melody's life and continues the friendships introduced in the first book. Melody is a baker so be prepared for lots of descriptions of yummy breads and French pastries to make you hungry while you read. I loved the interactions between Melody and Justin. They are sometimes funny, serious, quirky, challenging and inspiring. It is a book that inspires as well as entertains. A beautiful story to own.
