Description
This chart book provides an outline of the major issues and themes in Bible prophecy. It is designed to appeal to non-specialist readers, yet in its detail and comprehensiveness it also serves the specialist well. While there are many books on prophecy, the vast majority deal with the subject from a particular perspective and tend to dismiss other views. This book seeks to be even-handed and to avoid prejudicing readers for or against particular points of view.

The 120 charts fall into a number of groups as follows:

An Introduction to Prophecy

Hermeneutics and Prophecy

Fulfilment of Prophecy

Prophetic Texts

An Outstanding Resource for the Book of Revelation

I bought this as a text book as I am studying the Old Testament prophets. It is a brilliant resource for getting hold of their message and understanding the who, what, where of books we may otherwise skip as they are """"too hard. """" If you are a lover of the book of Revelation, this book will not only map it out in the New Testament, but also show you the Old Testament roots of the prophecies which Jesus and John drew on which are critical to understanding Revelation correctly. \\n\\nIt is easy to read, clear text, easy to photocopy (within legal limits for classes) and will help your brain to slow down and grab hold of what you are reading, rather than spinning out of control with names and images. I did wish it would spend more space on the works of Isaiah, Jeremiah and Ezekiel, but that doesn't detract from the value of the book. \\n\\nI cannot recommend this series highly enough. There are a substantial number of titles available from multiple sources.
