Paramedic Vanessa Hollister married Logan Hollister (yes, same last names) when she was eighteen and divorced him two years later for reasons unknown. \\r\\n\\r\\nVanessa is now living in Denver and engaged to Dr Ted Topliff, who has the idea to have a romantic destination wedding in Destin, Florida, to coincide with a medical conference. How romantic. Vanessa doesn't think this is a good idea, not because of the obvious sign that her husband-to-be isn't exactly making the wedding a priority, but because that's where she met Logan. Sure enough, when she visits Florida to plan the wedding, she runs into Logan, and things don't exactly go as planned . . . \\r\\n\\r\\nThis was a sweet romance along the lines of Sweet Home Alabama . . . as long as I didn't think about it too much. If I think about it, the romance suddenly seems too fast, and unconvincing because I didn't believe present-day Vanessa actually loved present-day Logan. \\r\\n\\r\\nThanks to Howard Books and NetGalley for providing a free ebook for review.
