    Perfect Length, Perfect Story!

I very much enjoyed reading a shorter-than-usual historical romance, packed full of romance, humour, great characters and faith building scenes. Faith arrives in Texas as a mail-order bride, but Nicholas Shepherd, the rancher who put in the mail-order, doesn't seem quite ready for marriage. It takes faith for him to overcome his past and trust in God again. It takes faith for his mother, Liza, to emerge from her deep grief to accept Faith as a loving daughter-in-law and not the threat she thinks she is initially. It takes faith for Faith to stick with what she knows to be God's plan A when the going gets tough, rather than settle for the much easier plan B. Well written, easy to read, and I look forward to the rest of the series.
