In this book, Lambert offers richly biblical, christ-centred and practical advice on dealing with pornography. Particularly helpful is his section on how to using accountability effectively and his breakdown of different types of radical measures that might need to be taken in the fight against pornography. \\r\\n\\r\\nHowever, I personally did not agree, on a theological level, that everyone has the ability to be 'free' from pornography or sexual sin. Regardless of this, whether you believe one can be 'free' from a certain sin or not, this book is still highly practical and relevant to anyone dealing with pornography. \\r\\n\\r\\nAs the book itself highlights, this book is not only just for those who are struggling with pornography themselves, but can useful for a mentor, friend or family member, as they help someone through their struggle with pornography.

Lambert seeks to present a practical book to help people in the battle for purity. However, the primary enemy the book seeks to show how the gospel impacts is pornography. \\r\\n\\r\\nIt is very practical throughout and includes many applications for both married and single people. \\r\\n\\r\\nLambert is to be commended for not including unhelpful or tempting scenarios or examples or words (he states at the beginning this is one of his intentions). It can be very unhelpful for people fighting lust for the imagination to be unnecessarily stimulated while reading a resource which is supposed to be helping. \\r\\n\\r\\nThe strength of the book is the focus on the impact of the gospel and grace of God in the fight against pornography. He emphasises the importance of turning away from these habits, but more importantly toward freedom through the empowering and forgiveness of God. \\r\\n\\r\\nPornography is a genuine challenge for people, and this book would be an excellent resource to use, perhaps especially as a resource in the context of a mentoring relationship. \\r\\n
