    Thought provoking

Davina spent 17 years with the love, care and support from her beloved parents and brothers. Though an accident rends her mute from a very young age Davina finds self expression in playing her violin. When two of her brothers are sent away to school, Davina travels with her father to visit relatives on the Isle of Arran, planning to remain with her cousins for an extended holiday. However, after her father returns home, Davina's circumstances change and she is coerced into providing musical entertainment for His Grace the Duke of Hamilton and his guests. This initiates a series of life altering events that poignantly tell of a young woman's trust and ultimate betrayal, of love found and lost, bitterness and revenge, guilt and forgiveness. \\r\\nLiz Curtis Higgs sensitively opens the readers eyes to living life with a perceived handicap, and finding God's grace and forgiveness following sin and guilt. A well written story full of passion, tears, heartache, and ultimate peace and joy.
