This devotional book of short (one page) letters from God to his princess is absolutely beautiful and one I've given as a gift many times over. I love the simplicity of the 'letters'-how they're based around the same Bible verses I've read time and time again, and yet somehow made all the more personal because they're in letter form. \\n\\n""""My Princess, I chose you. """"\\n""""My Princess, I can do anything. """"\\n""""My Princess, you are never alone. """" \\n""""My Princess, I will uphold you. """"\\n\\nI love what the author says in the introduction, that it's so hard for us to look at our lives and think of ourselves as royalty, and yet the truth is that that is how God sees us. As precious. Chosen. Beautiful book for women
This book is the most beautiful gift for women of all ages. I bought it for myself and absolutely love it. Can't wait to pass it down to my future daughters <3

Amazing
This book has got me through an extremely difficult month. 6 times I have opened the book to a random page and its like God's speaking to me through this book. I've bawled my eyes out a lot. I want to keep it in my bag. I know I'll read this over and over.

A reminder of our God as Father
I think that a book such as this by Sheri Rose Shepherd can have a place in one's reflection of God, as a tool for being able to remind yourself of God's character, how He is Father, or his love, of his patience. Of course with any book like this they carry inherent dangers, the words being taken as scripture, becoming blindsighted to any other aspects of God's character apart from the ones that make us 'feel good' - but if these things are kept in mind, I think this book can be used in a helpful and upbuilding way. \\r\\nOne of the things I most appreciate about the book are the Bible verses that are included, so that not only can you use the words written to reflect on scripture, but what is being said can be compared to the word of God to ensure it lines up, and on the most part I believe Shepherd is quite theologically sound in her writings, and often includes gospel truths within the letters. \\r\\nI read this book as a teenager, and I have no doubt it played a really big part in understanding how I was loved by God and working through many of my insecurities. And whilst now being older and the style of books I read has changed, I would not change that this was an core book (along with the Bible) that I read in my teenage years. \\r\\n
