What can I say this book is even better than Jenny Glazebrook's first book in the series. This book is full of faith and covers issues such as pride, unworthiness along with a few other issues.
Firstly, if you haven't read Jenny's previous book along with the books prior in the series you will be a little confused. This book is best read after reading prior books especially in series One. You won't be confused missing this year's books, but it would enrich your reading.
We again see Brandon who is getting to know his father, Luke. and the Ladan family. This time the heroine is Jodie. Brandon is Jodie's brother Josh's best friend.
Jodie is planning to move to New York city to study Journalism leaving her family and friends. Being a PK (Pastor Kid) she has had to say goodbye to too many people, so she is going before she has to say goodbye again. Brandon is rebuilding a relationship with his father and is growing more and more fond of Jodie. I would love to tell you more, but you have to read the book. There are a lot of twists and turns, and we see God's hand in what happens.
One thing I do have to say is I love that there is an orphan Squirrel in this book. He is a character and needed a little more airtime. As I was reading, I was reminded of Penny Zellers style of writing. The faith element is similar the only difference this is a contemporary and Penny writes mainly…
