Also known as the Scofield III, this beautifully crafted bible takes Cyrus Scofield's classic study bible (now known as the """"old Scofield bible"""") and adds to his notes by a variety of contributors from respectable Christian institutions. \\r\\n\\r\\nAs the owner of an old Scofield bible and being well acquainted with dispensationalism, I was eager to check out how Scofield's original notes were expanded upon in the Scofield III and was pleasantly surprised by the wealth of theological information contained within. \\r\\n\\r\\nMy initial fear with the Scofield III was whether the devout members of the panel would replace some of Scofield's original notes with their own but thankfully they have retained all of Scofield's notes and built upon them as dispensationalism has matured. \\r\\n\\r\\nIf you've never owned a Scofield study bible and would like to andor have an interest in dispensationalism, I highly recommend this product and have to say it is a perfect gift for anyone who has ever expressed interest in reading a Scofield bible. \\r\\n\\r\\nI cherish it and would love to see more Australians see what all the fuss is about and this bible is a perfect start.
