    Good Reading

    3. 5 Stars \\r\\n\\r\\nThis Book was well written and easy to follow. It took me a bit to get into this book and it really started to pick up around a quarter of the way in. I would suggest that it is more of a 'teen' read, but not that bad for adults either. \\r\\n\\r\\nThe story follows a Lad (Joshua) and his unconventional family (the Jones': Grandpa, Uncle Charlie, Auntie Lou and Gramps). Once again Josh's world is being turned upside down, only now he is old enough to understand what is happening. Will Josh be able to trust God to work things out for his good or will he let hurt, bitterness and fear take root in his heart? Will he be able to stop the changes that are on the horizon? Will things be a bad and he believes them to be or will they turn out much greater then he could have ever thought?\\r\\n\\r\\nI'll leave you to discover these things out yourself. \\r\\n\\r\\nI recommend this book, worth a read a least once. \\r\\n\\r\\n\\r\\n

    Great Novel

Once upon a summer by Janette Oke is about a boy Josh and his perspective on life as he grows. As with any child who grows through their life therevwill be challenges however Josh himself has been orphaned so his identity and character has bern formed by his grandfather and aunt. it is a wonderful reflection of the family and the community that was common during the early years of americas establishing. \\r\\nThe book is set in early America and is a great historical style novel. Its a great easy read and recommend it.
