A devoted fireman and a driven businessman, strangers with the same face. On that fateful Tuesday, one will leave the Twin Towers alive - but will he ever find his way home?
The last thing Jake Bryan knew was the roar of the World Trade Centre collapsing on top of him and his fellow fire-fighters. The man in the hospital bed remembers nothing. Not rushing with his team mates up the stairway of the south tower to help trapped victims. Not being blasted from the building. And not the woman sitting by his bedside who says she is his wife. Jamie Bryan will do anything to help her beloved husband regain his memory, and with it their storybook family life with their small daughter, Sierra. But that means helping Jake rediscover the one thing Jamie has never shared with him: his deep faith in God. Jake's fondest prayer for his wife is about to have an impact beyond anything he could possibly have conceived. ONE TUESDAY MORNING is a love story like none you have ever read: tender, poignant, commemorating the tragedy and heroism of September 11 and portraying the far-reaching power of God's faithfulness and a good man's love. - Publisher.

This is an amazing story with an incredible twist. Karen Kingsbury weaves into the story the natural way of showing God's desire for us to have Him as part of our lives and what life can be like if God is not the centre.

A Truly Amazing Read
An amazing book, it left me waiting to see what would happen next. \\r\\n\\r\\nThe book introduces characters prior to the tragedy of 911, and examines their lives which are changed forever because of the terrible acts of terrorism. To be drawn into this outstandingly written novel, which in many ways has suspense hanging through it is testimony to the author. She has truly captured the tragedy of that day and the emotions the world suffered in the time that followed. And without spilling too many details, the look-alike portion of this novel was quite clearly part of the necessary healing of the characters. One thing remained true - Karen Kingsbury certainly captured the essence of the day, and beyond, and brought home the message with biblical reference that yes, God was there as the twin towers fell, and yes, He was there through the recovery phase too. A truly amazing read!
