Essential Reading
Every year, many pastors leave the ministry for various reasons. Recognizing the challenges and risks that many pastors face, H. B. London and Neil B. Wiseman address issues such as the pastor's marriage and family, stress and burnout, managing priorities, sexual addictions, and personal holiness. It also has a chapter sharing twelve steps to more effective ministry. For pastors who are wrestling with any or all of these issues, this is a great book to read and digest. There is much within to instruct and inspire. If you are a Christian who loves your pastor, this book will also help you understand what are the challenges, issues and risks he faces. Highly recommended.
