Pocket prayers
This little pocket sized booklet was my first intro to the psalms. It simply presents a short paragraph no more than 4 or 5 sentences to encapsulate the content of the psalm in a prayer directed towards God. I remember reading it on the bus on my morning commute to school. Loved the way it captured the meaning of each psalm and caused me to focus on the Lord who made and remade me. Since then I discovered the joy of singing the psalms. May the Lord of Zion be enthroned once again on the praises of Israel.
