My first Loree Lough read certainly won't be my last. This little book was full of emotion, life-lessons, drama, twists and turns, until the satisfying last page. Priscilla and Caleb said their vows before God, but both understood that it was merely a marriage of convenience. Caleb needs Priscilla to help save his failing farm and she is prepared to do anything to provide for her grandparents. However, it's not long before Priscilla finds herself drawn to her new husband. She can't seem to help herself, even though she knows he is still in love with Laura, the wife who died eight years. At the same time, Caleb finds himself falling in love with Priscilla, leaving him consumed with guilt. Highly recommended, and I am on the lookout for more Loree Lough books.
