I've been reading books on the interface beween science and faith for many years now but hadn't read any Polkinghorne before. It is excellent because he is both a very respected scientist and a good theologian. Whereas in many of his books he looks at only one issue, this book is an overview of many issues including evolution, Genesis and the problem of practical evil. Books like this demonstrate clearly that it is possible to be both a good scientist and a strong Christian.
