In *Radical*, David Platt's plea for Christians to take back their faith from the American Dream resonated with readers everywhere, and the book quickly became a New York Times bestseller. Now in *Radical Together*, the author broadens his call, challenging us to unite around a gospel-centered vision.
How, he asks, might such a vision reshape our priorities as the body of Christ? How might well-intentioned Christians actually prevent God's people from accomplishing God's purpose? And, how can we best unleash the people of God in the church to carry out the purpose of God in the world?
Writing to everyone who desires to make an impact for God's glory - whether you are an involved member, a leader, or a pastor - Dr Platt shares six foundational ideas that fuel radical obedience among Christians in the church. With compelling Bible teaching and inspiring stories from around the world, he will help you apply the revolutionary claims and commands of Christ to your community of faith in fresh, practical ways.
"I love Radical Together! Please read it. God is using David Platt to lead his church into much-needed reform.... I don't know of a church leader that I trust more." - Francis Chan, author of Crazy Love
"I have the privilege of knowing David Platt, and I assure you that his life and ministry commend what he has written here. Read this book. Like the right medicine, it may be more helpful than comfortable. In fact, my prayer is that it may be an explosion, shifting many churches from centering wrongly on ourselves to centering rightly on Christ and his agenda for us - and for his world." - Mark Dever, pastor of Capitol Hill Baptist Church, Washington, DC

Even better than Radical
I didn't think a book could be more important than Radical - but because we are meant to be a church not solo Christians, it makes sense that this book is. Builds on the ideas in Radical and gives examples of how a group of believers can be living out their faith in genuine ways. Our church leaders read through the book together - God has already started to work through it, and we look forward to his direction in the future.

A great read for Christians to read together
I was thinking recently about what books I keep coming back to - books that have been foundational for my life and ministry. This book by David Platt was one that came straight to my mind. \\r\\n\\r\\nIt's the follow up to his Radical - and I think it's a much needed sequel for a number of reasons. \\r\\n\\r\\nFirstly, it grounds the challenge to live wholeheartedly with and for Christ more closely to the gospel of grace. That is, we're not to live radically in order to earn anything from God, but out of a life redeemed, renewed and re-focussed by Christ's finished for us. \\r\\n\\r\\nThen, having this foundation clearly in place, Platt calls Christians not to live radical lives in obedience to Christ by themselves, but I'm binding themselves to Christs's church - knowing we are made to function as a body, and can do more together than we ever could alone. \\r\\n\\r\\nIt's a small book, easy to read, not guilt inducing but motivating us by the privileges and call we have received in Christ. The discussion questions are great (our small church used this in our small groups). \\r\\n\\r\\nCan't recommend it more highly.
