    well researched

I have read lots of books about the rich. This one gives a realistic look at life for the servant class. It has a very Christian outlook and discusses many subjects of interest, that we still struggle with. It is funny to realize that women used to feel like they were old spinsters at the age of 20!! Only one section was distressing but easily skipped. All in all it was a nice escape.
