Road to Emmaus

What happens when you find yourself walking with a stranger and this particular stranger tells you everything that he knows about God and scripture? You find yourself sitting down to eat with this stranger and you look down for a second but then the stranger is gone and it's only then you realise who the stranger was!

A retelling of the story of the two disciples talking about the events of Jesus from what he did to his death and Resurrection, they are mourning and confused. Then Jesus comes and walks with them and talks to them and they listen and as they listen everything becomes clear. A lovely story for the whole family to watch and enjoy.

This movie is a depiction of how the conversation may have unfolded between the two people walking along the road to Emmaus when Jesus joined them and talked with them. The story is depicted in Luke 24:13-35. (Verse 15: """"And it came to pass, that, while they communed together and reasoned, Jesus himself drew near, and went with them""""). Jesus is played by Bruce Marchiano from the Visual Bible series Matthew and Acts. Although it is only 30 minutes long, it is well worth watching.
