Another one of G. K. Chesterton's amazing works that astoundingly and precisely weaves the story of St. Francis in a refreshing manner for bibliographies. Instead of focusing on an exact retelling of the events of his life, Chesterton explores the most significant occasions and breaks down the meaning and story behind them. It is simply a recommended read for anybody who enjoyed any of Chesterton's writings or loves the works of C. S. Lewis as well. Even those who know this well loved saint will have much to learn from this work. \\n\\nThis edition (the Paraclete Heritage Edition) is a fine version of this work. The softcover cover has a simply though elegant design suitable for this work. The paper quality and feel is very nice with a font size and style perfect for almost every reader. The few notes added are very well done; clearly explaining people and references unknown to current readers. \\n\\nIf you are unsure if you should read this book, I cannot recommend it any higher.
