When A.J. finds a soul-mate who shares her same burning desire to know the God who holds the stars in the heavens, she realizes that few people her age think as deeply as she and Danny. However the depth of their newfound faith and friendship is soon tested when Danny's father betrays his wife, Stella. Set in a simpler time, Saving Sailor is a heartwarming tale of how hearts can change and relationships can be restored with God's help.

Profoundly moving
I found this book a little slow to catch my interest at first, but persevering was well worth it! In fact, towards the end I found this book profoundly moving and touching. What a wonderful family A. J. had. . . also the simplicity of life through a child's eyes was refreshing. This is a book that will enrich the life of any who pick it up.
