Wow!
Wow. I've loved Becky Wade's books for years but this one easily made its way to the top of my favorites list. It's funny, sweet and romantic, but also raw, deep and vulnerable. It left me not only entertained but truly challenged at a heart level about the picture I show the world and who I really am inside. An incredible book and one I think every woman (especially those in any form of ministry) should read. Absolutely beautiful.

Great Story!
I've long enjoyed Becky Wades writing but this book stands out for me. Her writing is maturing. There is depth and real-life issues so very well told in this #1 in A Misty River Romance series. \\nI've delighted in reading about Genevieve Woodward and her story so far. Bring alongside her Sam Turner, raised in Melbourne Australia, and you've got a great first story. The support characters of family and friends brings about a tale to explore. \\nAt one point, rather early in the morning, I found myself not wanting to put it down but to keep turning to the next page, then to the next chapter, oh! just one more chapter. \\nI'm going to look forward to Book 2 and hope that if you pick up this story, you'll enjoy it as much as I have.

Intense
Becky Wade is a favourite author of mine, usually contemporary Romance. 'Stay With Me' had the romance element, but it also had two intense drama situations woven together to form the background for Gen and Sam's blossoming romance. Gen - a high profile Christian author and speaker - had become addicted to prescription meds following an accident, and had hidden it from her family and Christian fans. Sam (an Australian character, hurrah) finds Gen in a state of semi consciousness following her popping of pills, and recognises the signs. He has been there before, and is reluctant to become emotionally involved with an addict, though his past experience forces him to challenge her to fight and win the addiction battle. \\nThe second thread running alongside this drama is a blackmail letter Gen has received, threatening to expose her parents. Gen has no idea what it could be about, her parents being strong, loving Christian couple. Gen and her sister begin to research her parents' background and uncover more and more information that is alarming. Could it be true, they were involved with something so dark?\\n

Powerful
This was very emotional and deep but really beautiful. The characters are vulnerable and authentic. I really felt their struggle as I read it and was encouraged by their journeys. It is full of hope. A book for every woman to read.

Excellent Read
Becky has done it again with another excellent novel! Full of romance and family drama, you will not want to put this book down. With one of the main characters Australian, there's plenty of Australian lingo, themes, and cuisine. A must read to all who love romance novels.
