    Mind-blowing

I absolutely love everything about his book: the physical size of it, the length of the chapters, how easy it is to read, and how relatable it is. Such a peaceful yet challenging read. Rereading it now with my husband and discussing with him. I feel like I could have this book on the go constantly!

    A peaceful revelation

This has been a great read. I've spent the time to reflect on my own relationship with God and how I am pursuing Him daily. Reading this book helped me go back to scripture to really break it down rather than ticking a box to """"complete my devotional time with God. """" Reading through this book helped me realise I must embrace the idea that God has called me to rest. It's ok to rest. It's ok to take time out for God, with God, to truly reflect on and spend time with Him. There is no point working for God so intensely that I burn out and """"take a break"""" from my calling and purpose He has set for me. When I rest in The Lord, I realise who I am and my potential and purpose, as it were, as I come closer to Christ. Rest is not about admitting weakness. It's about having the strength to resist. To resist the workload and busyness and can distract me away from God.
