    poor theology

I really struggled reading this book. Though I appreciated the desire to create allegories to show heaven, God and the angels in a new and interesting way, this author made some very strange claims. When God was creating the world, he became tired, and slowed down, before deciding he really needed a day to rest and recover. To make Adam, God had to go collect the winds of heaven to bring him to life. The angels had all sorts of strange powers and thoughts. The garden of Eden was actually heaven joined to earth. . . I just struggled too much with this book making God less than who the bible shows Him to be - all powerful, all knowing, etc. I would not recommend this book.
