These books whilst written from a medical point of view, seem to be more of an evangelistic paperback than many of his other books. These are part of a series of pocket-sized books that he has written to tackle various health conditions. They are not an exhaustive book on the subject but rather seem more like an introduction to the condition with some suggestions for treatment. Each chapter ends with a written prayer that the reader may pray for encouragement and healing. I personally purchased this book for my husband and I do think that he found it to be helpful. Don introduced us to supplements that we had not been familiar with such as policosanol - which we ended up purchasing after reading this book. He is an advocate of soy products and so they always surface in his books (and this is one aspect in which we differ on his opinion). The book is however, a very positive and uplifting book as it focuses on God's design for healing. Don makes it very clear that God wants us to be healthy and through prayer (and the written prayers he provides) he tries to encourage his readers to seek God and lifestyle changes, as well as supplements so as to overcome this medical condition.
